The Cliffe Minstermen newest members, Rob and his son Alexander enjoy a day out at Bootham Crescent.
Anna and Alexander's show their true colours.
Rob who is a Cliffe village legend, has been a lapsed York City fan, but has been inspired by the Cliffe Minstermen recruitment drive and has decided to come back to the cause. To be fair to Rob he once nearly gave his life for York City. Playing in one of our games against the Plymouth Argyle supporters he was cut in half by a tackle whist trying to score a goal. How he got up from it I will never know. Bringing his son to his first City game is something he will never forget. As will Cliffe Minstermens Pete, I have to report that he was harmed in taking one of the pictures. Multi tasking does not come naturally and somehow he managed to spill boiling hot bovril all over his foot whist taking the picture!!!!
