Today's highlights were as follows
Watching the reaction to Wednesday fans on being told the price of their drinks in the Exebition public house.
Seeing Wednesday fans climb on to the roof of the gym in the away end, knowing that at some point someone would fall through. It was a good job his mates grabbed hold of him even though they could hardly stop laughing as the pulled him up.
The performance of Michael Ingham, on the field and playing the fool to the away fans. He has sat on the bench for half a season playing 2nd fiddle to the outstanding Nick Pope, but today he really put down a marker to be York City's number one once again. The Wednesday fans really took to Ingham chanting his name and Ireland's number one.
Our manager disguised as a bus driver on the bench.
The pizza from the deli on Bootham, very tasty and cheaper and better quality than the cusine in the ground.
Today's lows were
Low numbers of York supporters
Playing in one of the worst kits in our history (that is my opinion and not that of the Cliffe Minstermen and it will be the last you will here on the subject)
Not winning the 5kg Belgian chocolate replica of the World Cup in the 50/50 draw.
You can't read anything into today's result, pre season games are in no way a reflection of what is going to happen in the up coming season.
